I've wanted to make video games since I was little. I wrote Nintendo when I was between the ages of six and eight with a game idea. I saw one little spot in the power up section of nintendo power one day about people voting on the new heroine of Megaman Legends 3 with a url. Several months later I went to the site and found that Legends 3 wasn't just some Megaman game. It was a place where all kinds of people submitted their ideas to make the game the best it could be. So, even knowing nothing about Megaman Legends, armed with a dream of game development, I joined in. My ideas may not have been selected, but I always felt that the game would benefit from the ones that were. It wasn't a bunch of people online talking about how a game should be, it was a team of over 10,000 people working together on a game we all looked forward to playing. I went online daily (I'm not usually online a lot) just to see what Kinako posted or what news Greg had for us. It was almost like being in the office with them as we worked on the game. I even bought Megaman Legends 1, to know more about the world I was helping create.

After the cancellation, I was really bummed about how much we had all invested in the project. I removed all my campaign stuff from my deviantart page, and even neglected to sign a petition for it, feeling that it wouldn't change anything. But when someone commented on my Legends 3 related artwork saying to join the revival movement, and I found out the support it had, I joined in knowing that this more than anything had the chance to bring back not only a great game in a great series, but my chance to chase my dream.

The Devroom introduced me to a wonderful team of real developers. It gave me a chance to put my creativity on display. It showed me how far I've come on the path to working on games, and just how much farther I have to go. It inspired me to push my art and music skills. It made me think more about how I create characters, how I want my stories told, and how I would overcome any of what I see as problems with the games I play. I sincerely hope to one day meet with the dev team face to face and thank them for letting me work with them for that short time and take one step closer to my dream.

The rocket may have failed, but we as servbots will retrieve Megaman even without it.
The heavens will not be pierced by the drill of Kamina's protege, but by the lofty dreams of those who would strive to make people happy with great games, the passion of all Magaman and Legends fans, and a tower of over 100,000 servbots rising from the remains of a 25% complete rocket.

Thanks to all those who have helped this movement achieve it's goal of 100,000 likes.

This is servbot 2048 standing ready to hold not only the other 97,952, but all who would stand on his shoulders and rise in Elysium where Megaman and our dreams are waiting. Legends never die!!
for the people who don't read artists comments but still want to hear my story.
