I really love this drawing. it shows such a milestone in my artistic development. To do a pose this complex with the wings and this level of shading is huge. I mainly drew it as something to attach the bio to. No major influence section since I'm not redesigning him.

Konpaku Enkou
A few weeks after birth, Enkou’s parents died. He reunited with his family in meeting Artemis. He lives with his sisters to better fulfill his duty as the local daimyo. Using his wings, his flames, and his blades he tries to protect the town under his charge as well as his newly formed family, which has adopted Hana, Jeroen, and Hiram into it. He is strongly romantic, spending what free time he has appreciating the peace of nature and using the stars to guide his actions.
It’s been interesting watching Enkou’s design evolution. I’ve probably mentioned before that enkou was originally a pokemon trainer with no name. I upgraded him to a superhero shortly thereafter, but used a ton of gaming material mashed together. His hairstyle was originally identical to that of Joey/Junoichi from Yu-Gi-Oh!. As I refined the design his hairstyle became the one he had in Explosion, and I finally settled on the name. It was at least a year longer before he became the Enkou like the one here. The most unifying feature of his design is his shirt which has contained the logo I ncame up with in eighth grade since my second or third drawing of him. Before that it contained a pokeball symbol.
